L. Anthony Watkins
CEO / Principal Consultant

L. ANTHONY WATKINS is an accomplished Organisational Development Consultant. After majoring in Psychology at the University of Toronto he worked extensively in the fields of Social Pathology/ Mental Health, Correctional Services and Psychiatric Forensic Assessment. On his return to Trinidad and Tobago, he worked as a Guidance Officer, tutored with the University of the West Indies School of Continuing Studies and was the National Coordinator for the Attitudinal Development Project of the Youth Training and Employment Partnership Programme (YTEPP).

He has served as a member of the Board of Management of the Caribbean Industrial Research Institute (CARIRI), the Board of Directors of the National Petroleum Marketing Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (NP), the Trinidad and Tobago Public Service Commission, the Commissions Board of the Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force, the Board of Trustees of the John Hayes Memorial Kidney Foundation, the reconstituted Board of CLICO (Trinidad) Limited and Angostura Holdings Limited.

He is currently Chairman of the Board at the Foundation for the Academic Advancement of Spiritual Baptist Youth.

His involvement in sport includes work with Administrators, Coaches and Players on National and Regional Teams in the areas of Management and the Psychology of Performance.

As Principal of his company, ODYSSEY CONSULTinc, he has worked extensively across the region with major companies in the Finance, Energy, Service, Public and Manufacturing Sectors.

Actively sought after as a Keynote Speaker, he has presented at regional business conferences of the Human Resource Management Association of Barbados, the Insurance Association of the Caribbean, the Employers’ Consultative Association of Trinidad and Tobago, CARILEC, Development Finance Limited, the Caribbean Conference of Credit Unions and the Jamaica Employers’ Federation.

He has facilitated many Cabinet Teambuilding Retreats and has shared the stage with the world-famous motivational speaker, Les Brown.

His work in both Public and Private Sector Organisational Transformation since the early 1990’s includes Visioning and Strategy Development, Transformation and Merger Management, Executive Team Building and Leadership Development.

 

Neive Thomas (Ms.)
Business Manager

NEIVE THOMAS is the Business Manager / Consultant at ODYSSEY CONSULTinc. She brings fifteen years experience in the Financial Sector and over seven years experience in Training & Development.

She has successfully designed and delivered training interventions for all levels of the organization in sectors as diverse as Finance, Hospitality, Health, Energy and Retail Distribution. In her capacity as Business Manager / Consultant, she has developed her skills and successfully applied them to our Whole System Approach to Organisational Development.

As Business Manager, she is central to the organisation’s functioning and has the primary responsibility of mobilizing and managing the Operational, Administrative and OD resources for optimal service delivery.

 

Leisel Joel (Ms.)
Manager-Corporate Branding

Leisel Joel assumed the position of Manager of Corporate Branding at ODYSSEY CONSULTinc Limited on 2nd August, 2010. As Manager of Corporate Branding she is responsible for co-ordinating and facilitating internal and external communications, client relations, business growth development, as well as general management responsibilities.

 She brings over seven years of experience in public relations and communications to both government agencies and private industries. She holds an AAS degree in Environmental Technology; NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health; (Two Year) Certificate in Communication Arts; and Btech Higher National Diploma (HND) in Media. She is presently pursuing her BA (HONS) in Media and Communications from Greenwich University, which she will complete by February 2011.

Tracey Tarquini (Ms.)
Office Administrator

Tracey Tarquini is the Office Administrator at Odyssey Consultinc. She joined the organization in 2004.  In her role within the business office she reports to and supports the Business Manager in the areas of financial administrative functions, programme coordination, facility management, stock control and overall office operations. Tracey has also expanded her role as the main Extended DISC Profiling Administrator within the organization.

Prior to her employment at Odyssey Consultinc, Tracey worked fourteen years within the retail and manufacturing sector and has extensive experience in the fields of administration, secretarial and customer service. These set skills and expertise are aligned to the values within the organization in particular Performance Excellence which we bring to our clients.

Tracey holds a Diploma in Management for Administrative Professionals from UWI School of Business and Continuing Studies (ROYTEC) and a Certificate in Introduction to Business Software from DELTASOFT Computer and Training Services.
