ASHA WATKINS-MONTSERIN is a Legal Consultant at ODYSSEY CONSULTinc. She is a practicing Attorney-at-Law attached to Justitia Omnibus Law Chambers (Est. 1979) where her areas of practice include Corporate/Commercial, Criminal, Civil and Family Law.  In her practice, Asha has operated in the role of Advocate Counsel, Junior Counsel and Instructing Counsel in the Court of Appeal, High Court, Industrial Court and Magistracy. 

In addition to this, she has appeared as Counsel before various tribunals including the Public Service Commission.  Her experience includes background work, including, preparation of opinions, policies and regulations for local and regional organizations and research and preparation of opinions and submissions in a number of large-scale Corporate/Commercial matters of juridical significance. 

Asha’s legal practice is enhanced by her background in Management and Business Administration.  She holds a Bachelor in Business Administration (University of New Brunswick) with a focus on Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations and an Associate of Science Degree in Management (ROYTEC).  Asha has also received her LCCI certification in Public Relations, Advertising and Marketing. 

Over the years she has worked at marketing, magazine production, editing and administration.  Asha has also guest lectured at the Employers Consultative Association (ECA) for the Certificate in Law Programme and tutored with the University of the West Indies in the area of Organizational Behavior. At ODYSSEY CONSULTinc she previously operated in the role of Manager – Corporate Branding and Consultant (General).

As a Consultant, Asha has worked on numerous interventions in the areas of Strategic Planning, Visioning, Change Management, High-Level Business Process Redesign and Whole System Change with clients such as the Bank of Saint Lucia, Asa Wright Nature Centre and Chaguaramas Development Authority.

In her current role at ODYSSEY CONSULTinc, Asha not only provides legal services to our organization but to clients (individuals and organizations) as well.
